Update on Dues Collection SystemsThe last few months have been filled with many changes and adjustments to how we conduct union business, especially in terms of dues collection. Most recently an injunction was passed regarding dues collection blocking the bill from going into effect. Your local, for the time being, will still be able to use payroll deduction for the collection of union dues.This means dues will NOT be collected through the alternative method that was rolled out at the end of last school year. Thank you to all those who got their forms filled out in a timely manner. It is important that we continue on a proactive path and be prepared as we moved forward.
