ACTIVISTS FOR CONGRESSIONAL EDUCATION (ACE)What is the ACE Program?The Activists for Congressional Education (ACE) Program is a member-driven effort to strengthen the relationship between the AFT and Members of Congress. Under the program, AFT Michigan has established ACE Committees by congressional district. Participants will meet with their Member of Congress at least twice per year in the congressional home district office. Members of the ACE Committee will be constituents of the Congressional member, and by meeting twice a year will start to build a lasting relationship and a more formalized line of communication with the Member of Congress and will be better able to communicate our union's positions on issues.
