Lobby Day 2006

Dear Members:

This year's Lobby Day will begin with a short briefing in the Ballrooms 1 - 4 on the first floor of the Lansing Center from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Lunch will be served from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m, giving you the opportunity to prepare to meet with legislators immediately following lunch.

From 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. you will break into small groups, according to legislative districts, for a town hall-style meeting with your legislators Then we will reconvene in the Ballrooms for a short reporting on the results of your meetings. Buses will depart from the Lansing Center at approximately 4:00 p.m.

For your convenience, transportation will be provided for our members from the Detroit area and northern Michigan. Transportation will depart the Detroit area at approximately 8:00 a.m. and return at approximately 5:30 p.m. Transportation will depart Mackinac City at approximately 7:00 a.m. and return at approximately 7:00 p.m., with other stops according to attendance.

All members are welcome to join us, and it is vitally important that at least one representative from each local attend. Please complete the attached registration form and return it to the Lansing Office by February 15, 2006, indicating your transportation preference in the left margin.
